The Mondo Generator was originally formed as a side project withOliveri's former Kyuss band mates Josh Homme and Brant Bjork, butsince Oliveri's departure from Queens of the Stoneage in 2004, ithas become his focus. "Mondo Generator is not a side-project anymore," Oliverisaid in a statement, "I used to do Mondo every now and then onspare time and now it's my first choice.
